Bucks County Community College is seeking two experienced HVAC service professionals to join our team as part-time daytime instructors in our growing industrial skills program. The program will begin in April 2026 and will take place Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3 PM at The Center for Advanced Technologies on our Bristol campus. If you have a passion for hands-on training, industry expertise, and mentoring the next generation of skilled technicians, we want you on our team! Responsibilities Teach and mentor students in various HVAC service technician processes and techniques, ensuring safety and industry standards. Develop lesson plans, track attendance, and assess student progress. Prepare students for certification exams where applicable. Maintain equipment and identify necessary supplies for instruction. Foster teamwork, professionalism, and workplace communication skills. Course Structure Monday-Friday 8:30-3 pm, 12-week cycles (288 instructional hours per cycle) Hands-on training and theory instruction in a lab/shop setting. Held at the Center for Advanced Technologies in Bristol, PA. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma with 5 years of HVAC service experience or an associate degree. 10 years in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments. EPA 608 Certification Expertise in preparing students for industry-recognized certification. Strong knowledge of HVAC safety, blueprint reading, and HVAC-related math. Proficiency in MS Office for email and recordkeeping. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience teaching adult learners.
