Full-Time Special Term Contract Instructor – Computer Science Department: School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Discipline: Computer Science Bucks County Community College invites applications for a Full-Time Special Term Contract Instructor position in Computer Science within the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics for the 2026–2027 academic year. The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate Computer Science and Information Science courses, including introductory computing, programming, computer science sequence courses, Python, database design, web programming, systems, networking/cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other emerging technologies. Teaching responsibilities may also include courses that contribute to the College’s general education curriculum. The position requires a strong commitment to community college teaching, student-centered pedagogy, student advising, curriculum development, assessment of student learning and program outcomes, transfer preparation, and workforce-responsive program growth. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across multiple instructional modalities, including in-person, online, and hybrid formats. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field, including a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in computer science or a directly related discipline. Demonstrated professional and/or academic preparation in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or applied AI is required. Preference will be given to candidates who can help expand AI-related curriculum and support interdisciplinary integration of emerging technologies across STEM and career programs. Preferred Qualifications PhD in Computer Science or Machine Learning. 5 plus years of college teaching experience, community college experience a plus.
