Assembler/Delivery Driver

Bucks County Electric Works is one of the largest and most established residential electrical contractors in Southeastern PA. We specialize in wiring new homes for the nation's largest home builders, and we are currently completing projects throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Our Warminster, PA warehouse is currently looking for a Assembler/Delivery Driver for the prefabrication of assemblies and transportation and delivery of materials and equipment to our job sites.

For us, having an organized and predictable system for wiring new homes is a competitive advantage. The Assembler/Delivery Driver plays an integral role in this system by ensuring prefabricated assemblies are built properly and on-time deliveries are completed to our field staff.

As An Assembler/Delivery Driver You Will

• Assemble parts to create prefabricated assemblies.
• Reads and deciphers assembly instructions
• Uses power tools and hand tools to build prefabricated assemblies
• Cleans and maintains a safe work area and equipment, including tools
• Delivers Material to field installers in a timely manner
• Drives vans as needed for swap outs and maintenance completion
  
  

This is a full time position. 5 days a week between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm.

Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with relevant warehouse experience and a strong mechanical aptitude. While preference will be given to candidates with construction industry experience, especially electrical construction, all qualified candidate will be considered.

You Must Be

• Tech-savvy. Must be knowledgeable in the use of modern office productivity tools. In an average day you'll be utilizing our web portal that houses the core information needed to perform your job.
• Mechanically oriented. While no construction experience is required for this role, it will be necessary to develop a working knowledge of the different types of material used in residential electrical construction and have knowledge and ability to use power tools properly and safely (i.e. miter saw and drills)
• Energetic Self Starter - Must have the ability to keep on task until completion and move from task to task without being prompted.
  
  

You Should Have

• Documented experience working in a warehouse environment
• Experience working with power tools and hand tools.
  
  

Bonus points if you qualify for one or more of the following:

• Possess construction industry experience, particularly electrical construction
• Graduated from a trade school or technical apprenticeship program
