Job Summary:
The newly created Landscape Construction Project Assistant will support the daily coordination of landscape and irrigation crews, ensuring projects have supplies and materials. This role bridges the gap between planning and field execution and is critical to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
· Interpret and utilize landscape and irrigation blueprints to understand project supply needs
· Identify and ensure proper ordering of trees, flowers, shrubs and plant materials
· Serve as a point of contact between the Project Manager, Suppliers and General Contractors
· Manage material scheduling, deliveries, and on-site inventory
· Provide field support and communication with foremen and project manager to ensure jobsite efficiency
Requirements:
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Experience working with state and government contract submittals
. Reviewing and gathering information for contracts
· Proficiency with Excel, Word, etc
· High School Diploma
· Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications:
· Horticultural knowledge and experience identifying plants and trees
· Ability to read and interpret landscape/irrigation construction plans
· Experience in commercial landscape or construction industries preferred
· Bachelor’s Degree
