Summary: We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who will play a pivotal role in our sales team's success. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to drive revenue growth, exceed sales targets, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.


Essential Functions:

· Generate selections and customer quotes for all the products that we represent, including but not limited to RGDs, VAVs, Fans, and Mechanical Equipment

· Prepare detailed submittals

· Download drawings, specifications, schedules, and details

· Perform accurate “take-offs” electronically using Planswift

· Process stock and factory orders for customers

· Answer phone calls and email requests from clients relating to quotations, order processing, order tracking, freight claims, product availability, field service, and warranties

· Follow established sales processes and procedures at Buckley

· Maintain knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and product lines

· Maintain a working understanding of all the products on our line card by consistently participating in factory and Buckley technical training offerings

· Fulfill customer product and service needs by utilizing product knowledge and soliciting help from other team members and other internal resources

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

-Full-time

-Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, in the Milford, CT. office


Required Education and Experience:

  • A degree in engineering is preferred but not required
  • HVAC industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
