Summary
The Estimating Coordinator organizes and analyzes project proposals and requirements. The coordinator is responsible for working with the estimating department, sales and marketing teams as well as interface directly with our clients as it relates to projects and to bid-related questions.
Essential Functions:
- Assists with reviewing project plans, specifications, and building internal bid list
- Tracks bid opportunities and ensures organizational needs are met in a timely manner
- Effectively communicates internally with co-workers as well as customers and vendors
- Maintains knowledge of product lines, staying informed of new products and utilizing opportunities to further educate self, enhancing professional growth
Competencies
- Highly organized, detail oriented, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Uses logic and reasoning to work through design issues while estimating projects
- Must possess a positive “Can Do” professional attitude
- Ability to interact professionally with other employees, customers and vendors
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or 3 plus years of relevant experience
- Recent college graduates will be considered with relevant Internships
