Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team. The primary focus of this role is preparing, packing, and shipping small to medium-sized e-commerce orders with accuracy and efficiency. While most shipments are parcels, the role will also include occasional pallet preparation, freight coordination, and picking customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick small parts, hardware, and components for customer orders.
- Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Print and apply shipping labels, ensuring accuracy in packaging and documentation.
- Maintain organized packing stations and shipping supplies.
- Work with carriers (USPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Occasionally assist with pallet preparation and freight shipments.
- Follow all company procedures to ensure orders are shipped quickly, correctly, and in good condition.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and replenishing stock as needed.
- Support general warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in shipping, order fulfillment, or warehouse operations preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle packages of varying sizes (up to 50 lbs regularly, more with assistance).
- Comfortable working with computers, shipping software, and label printers.
- Team player with flexibility to assist in other warehouse tasks when needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
