About Us
We are an 80-year-old, 25-person team family business catering to high-end, quality conscious customers. We run two companies out of our Newburyport, MA office. First is our wholesale division (www.iasltd.com) where we produce hardware at our factory in Asia for large scale leather accessory brands. Second is our retail e-commerce store (www.buckleguy.com) where we stock and ship out of our Newburyport warehouse all types of leathercraft products to crafters and manufacturers.
Summary
We are looking for a candidate with interest and experience in digital marketing and ecommerce to help support our Marketing Department. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support the ecommerce goals of our website (www.buckleguy.com) through asset creation, content generation, and data management.
We are seeking a candidate that will show high levels of motivation, be adaptive to an ever-changing environment, and have the ability to multi-task and solve problems. The candidate will be expected to take on tasks and responsibilities as needed to help support the team and grow the business.
Responsibilities
- Product photography and photo editing
- Creating and editing product listings and descriptions
- Graphic design for banners, videos, ads, infographics, flyers, etc.
- Content generation, copywriting, and proofreading for website, emails, social media, etc.
- Testing new web content, programs, systems, etc.
- General data entry and research projects
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Prior understanding of marketing and ecommerce environments
- Must be technically-minded and able to quickly navigate and learn various computer software applications
- Strong preference for candidates with skills in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, photography, videography, and graphic design
- CSS experience a plus
