Learning & Development Specialist

What you’ll be doing

This role is responsible for the design, development, and administration of learning programs that support employee development, leadership growth, and business objectives. This role will create, and curate engaging content, manage the learning catalogue, and support the rollout of enterprise-wide programs such as leadership development pathways and succession planning initiatives. This role ensures L&D programs are aligned with organizational needs and delivered effectively across regions.

You will be responsible for

  • Design, develop, and maintain role-based learning pathways for employees and leaders.
  • Curate content for the company’s learning catalogue (internal and external resources).
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create training materials, job aids, and toolkits.
  • Support the implementation and administration of the LMS and other learning platforms.
  • Track and evaluate program effectiveness, recommending improvements where needed.
  • Assist in the rollout of talent development initiatives as needed.
  • Support facilitation of workshops as needed, partnering closely with the Corporate Trainer.
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovations in instructional design, eLearning, and learning technology.

 

What we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, instructional design, education, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in learning design, instructional development, and or program coordination.
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Experience creating blended learning solutions (eLearning, facilitator-led, microlearning, job aids).
  • Familiarity with LMS administration, learning platforms, and digital learning tools.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
  • Valid Passport ability to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in CAD/USA/MEX.
