Senior Financial Analyst
π Dundee, MI | Hybrid - 4 days in office/ 1 day WFH
A large, publicly traded global manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support across consolidated and regional business unit results.
This is a high-visibility role partnering directly with senior commercial and finance leadership β ideal for a sharp, self-starting analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, decentralized manufacturing environment and enjoys turning complex operational data into clear business insights.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze financial plan data to identify risks and opportunities and present findings with proposed actions to senior management
- Provide qualitative and quantitative economic assessments on key business initiatives including IRR and Economic Value Added (EVA) valuations
- Support all financial planning activities including monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning cycles
- Analyze complex financial scenarios to provide detailed insight into business drivers and value creation opportunities β gathering and interpreting operational, commercial, logistics, and system data
- Support commercial analytics, reporting, and price and volume benchmarking activities
- Provide corporate finance with information to support enterprise-level analysis and benchmarking initiatives
- Assist with compilation of information required for internal and external quarterly and annual reporting requirements
- Liaise with and challenge regional teams to validate accuracy and completeness of financial data
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3 years of finance and/or accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills required; SAP and SAC experience a plus
- Experience in a large, decentralized manufacturing environment with US GAAP/SOX reporting a strong plus
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable making independent decisions in a fast-paced environment
