International Tax Senior Manager | Global Public Manufacturing & Technology-Enabled Enterprise | Chicago Area (Hybrid)
A fast-growing, highly acquisitive global public company is seeking an International Tax Senior Manager to lead complex cross-border tax reporting, compliance, and planning initiatives across a multi-jurisdictional structure.
This is a highly visible role reporting into senior tax leadership and partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Treasury across global operations.
We are seeking an International Tax Senior Manager (or strong Manager ready to step up) who thrives in complex, evolving global environments and enjoys both technical tax work and strategic advisory exposure.
What You’ll Own
- Lead and review quarterly and annual ASC 740 reporting for international entities, including effective tax rate analysis, deferred tax positions, and valuation allowance considerations
- Oversee U.S. international tax compliance, including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and related reporting requirements
- Review and manage preparation of key international filings including Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, CbCR, Local Country, and Master File documentation
- Support and evaluate transfer pricing and cross-border tax documentation requirements
- Monitor evolving domestic and international tax legislation, assessing impact and implementing required changes
- Support international transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and restructuring initiatives
- Assist with tax audits at both federal and international levels
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams across accounting, legal, treasury, and business units
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and technology enhancements within the tax function
- Contribute to building and developing a high-performing tax team environment
What You Bring
- 8 years of international tax experience, ideally with Big 4 public accounting and/or large multinational corporate tax experience
- Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 and U.S. international tax provisions (GILTI, FDII, BEAT)
- Hands-on experience with international tax compliance forms (1118, 5471, 8858, CbCR, etc.)
- Exposure to multinational organizations, ideally with acquisition-heavy or complex global structures
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner across Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Treasury
- Ability to independently manage complex tax compliance and reporting processes
- CPA or Master’s in Tax/Accounting required
- Experience with tax systems (e.g., OneSource) and strong Excel skills preferred

Salary : $175,000 - $185,000
