Job Summary:
As a Medicaid Enrollment Specialist, youll bring attention to detail, organization, and consistency to every step of the enrollment process. Youll manage the back-end Medicaid application process, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time so participants can receive the care they need.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working through structured processes. Youll be part of a supportive team in a mission-driven environment where collaboration, accuracy, and service come first.
Schedule:
First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and review Medicaid application packets from the Participant Enrollment Specialist.
- Request, collect, and verify required medical and financial documentation.
- Ensure all application materials are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Track application status and follow up with county offices and external agencies.
- Identify and communicate any barriers or delays in the application process.
- Maintain accurate documentation and updates in CRM and EMR systems.
- Collaborate with enrollment, intake, and interdisciplinary teams to support Participants.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Track progress toward goals and maintain key performance indicators.
- Follow up on pending applications after enrollment until verification is complete.
- Provide support to participants and families throughout the process.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience working with the frail or elderly population is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations preferred
