This position is strictly contingent and will last between 3-4 months.
Must be experienced in Sourcing in Manufacturing Industry.
Interview process will be two virtual interviews and an onsite interview.
Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Sourcer is an onsite, sourcing-focused recruiting partner responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and pipeline-building talent for manufacturing and industrial operations. This role specializes in sourcing hourly production, skilled trades, maintenance, and hard-to-fill plant-based roles, working closely with manufacturing leaders, HR, and Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure steady workforce pipelines in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Functions:
• Serve as the primary sourcing expert for manufacturing, skilled trades, and plant-based roles.
• Maintain a consistent onsite presence to partner closely with plant leadership and HR.
• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, manufacturing job boards, referrals, and local labor market outreach.
• Identify and engage passive candidates through targeted outreach and relationship-driven sourcing.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring manufacturing roles.
• Screen candidates for manufacturing-specific competencies including technical skill sets, safety awareness, attendance reliability, and shift flexibility.
• Support onsite interviews, hiring events, and plant tours in partnership with hiring leaders.
• Accurately document sourcing activity, pipelines, and candidate progress within the ATS.
• Track and analyze sourcing metrics including source effectiveness and pipeline health.
• Participate in local hiring initiatives such as career fairs, technical schools, and workforce agencies.
• Continuously improve sourcing processes to support hiring velocity and quality in manufacturing environments.
Position Qualifications:
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in talent sourcing or recruiting, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or plant-based environments.
• Required: Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to source and engage passive candidates.
• Proven experience sourcing for hourly production, skilled trades, maintenance, or plant leadership roles.
• Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
• Ability to manage high-volume sourcing needs while supporting urgent plant hiring priorities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with operations leaders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced Boolean search expertise.
• Experience supporting union, multi-shift, or multi-site manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with safety-sensitive roles and pre-employment screening requirements.
