Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation regulations
- Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and assisting with food presentation when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, prep areas, and dining spaces through regular cleaning routines
- Buss tables by clearing dishes and resetting tables promptly to enhance guest experience
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold a safe working environment for all team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and bending frequently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in busy settings
- Basic culinary skills or prior kitchen experience such as cooking or food prep is advantageous
