Assistant Project Manager
We are looking for a Assistant Project Manager to assist with the planning and supervision of construction projects
from start to finish. You will be needed to organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure
they are completed in a timely and efficient manner while assisting with the supervision of site staff and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the overall contract management and performance. Set an example for all
project personnel and ensure all work is performed in accordance with contract plans and
specifications.
- Ensure that subcontractors thoroughly understand contract plans and specifications. Assist with the management of all
subcontractor involvement in the project. Identify potential conflicts or problems before they
occur.
- Assist with the management of overall Project Schedules including monthly updates.
- Review change order requests with project manager from vendors and subcontractors.
- Assist with document control.
- Develop a thorough understanding and knowledge of all contract plans, schedules, and
specifications.
- Assist with the review and ensure Subcontractor / Vendor invoice accuracy.
- Champion safety and ensure compliance with all safety requirements.
Requirements
1. Solid MS Office, with construction management software skills (Company will assist with course completion of construction management software)
2. Current safety credentials to include OSHA 30 (Company will assist with course completion if not already obtained)
3. Basic understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management
principles
4. Familiarity with construction/ project management software (Company will assist with course completion)
5. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
6. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience
- Relevant: 3 Years
- Construction: 1 Years Will mentor applicants with the appropriate skill sets and provide on the job training.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
