Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, equipment, and materials to various destinations while providing exceptional customer service. Your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining positive relationships with clients, and supporting the smooth operation of our logistics processes. Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of items.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with warehouse activities as needed, including moving inventory and supporting loading/unloading operations.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with strong route driving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting and moving inventory safely.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices for box trucks and heavy vehicles.
• Strong organizational skills for planning routes and managing delivery schedules efficiently.
• Physical stamina for manual lifting, moving heavy items, and long periods of driving.
