Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Technician

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that all projects meet applicable codes, specifications, and internal quality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, technically capable, and committed to long-term career growth within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform weld mapping and material traceability (material mapping)
• Maintain accurate welder logs and certifications
• Develop, organize, and maintain comprehensive job books/documentation packages
• Review and interpret applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
• Ensure all work complies with required codes and specifications
• Assist in audits and inspections as needed
• Collaborate with production and management teams to maintain quality standards
• Identify and report non-conformances and assist with corrective actions
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience with weld mapping, material traceability, and QC documentation
• Strong understanding of industry codes and specifications
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office and document management systems)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and organization
• Positive, “can-do” attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
