Job Purpose Statement
This paid internship will support the Corporate Communications & Governmental Affairs Department in executing internal and external corporate and brand communications for the corporate brand BSH and the product brands Bosch and Thermador. This assignment can be up to one (1) year. Ideal candidates may be on a career path in strategic communications/PR and/or marketing, seeking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and complex corporate environment. Potential projects may include supporting product review programs, significant media pitching programs, assisting with the creation of collateral, social media content and event logistics support, amongst other activations across the internal and external communications mix.

Report to Head of Corporate Communications & Governmental Affairs
- Support internal and external communications (BSH, Bosch, Thermador) activities across Region North America (focus: PR and corporate Social Media).
- Assist in the creation and editing of press materials, media lists, social media posts, media content, slide decks and executive briefing materials (PowerPoint, Word).
- Update and maintain content on the BSH corporate website and other digital channels.
- Draft internal news articles, announcements, and storytelling pieces for employees.
- Support team with coordinating inbound media inquiries as needed.
- Annotate, record and distribute meeting notes and/or action items for internal meetings in which they are involved.
- Annual Press Conference: Assist with planning and coordinating this and other media and internal events.
- Support partnership activities with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, including content creation and logistics (focus PR and internal communications).
- Conduct background research on media, market, and industry topics as needed.
- Provide general administrative and project support to the Corporate Communications team.
Specific Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or working towards one in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related discipline.
- Strong interest in luxury brands, premium consumer goods, and communications management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social media platforms, content management systems (internal/external), and PR/media relations is an advantage.
- Proficiency with both Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Familiarity with graphic design skills, video editing, technology savvy, camera use, etc. is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data (e.g., communications KPIs) and develop clear insights.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proactive, curious, and willing to learn; strong team player with a positive mindset.
- Ability to conduct research, gather information, and prepare clear summaries or briefings.
- Familiarity with journalistic storytelling and Associated Press writing style (preferred).
Education/Certificate
Four-Year College Bachelor’s degree or working towards one in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline (Preferred)
Years of Experience
0-2 Years Experience in creating content (texts, presentations, etc.), digital and social media platforms (Preferred)
