The Head Coach of Men’s Soccer is responsible for all aspects of coaching, recruiting and administering of the soccer program along with being a relentless supporter of Bryant & Stratton College and its athletics department. This coach will be responsible for starting this program from its initial stages. Collegiate recruiting experience is required for this position. The program will be conducted in compliance with policies, procedures and regulations of the College, the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). This is a part-time, 12-month position, reporting to the Director of Athletics.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting!
- Developing and coaching student-athletes
- Monitoring student-athlete academic performance
- Commitment to academic integrity and student-athlete welfare
- Developing and managing the program’s budget
- Fund-raising to support the program’s operational budget
- Hire, supervise, and develop assistant coaches
Requirements:
- Five years coaching & recruiting experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated recruiting and retention success at a higher educational institution
- Solid administrative skills with the ability to communicate and motivate staff to achieve goals
- Willingness to interact comfortably with individuals and constituency groups that are crucial to the advancement of the men’s soccer program along with the department and institution
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Education: Associate degree or better required/Bachelor’s degree or better preferred.
