Responsibilities
The Information Coordinator in the Emergency Department is responsible for managing all communication and clerical activities that support the efficient operation of the unit. This role serves as a liaison between the ED clinical team, hospital departments, patients, and families to facilitate timely and effective communication, patient tracking, and administrative coordination.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to multitask and work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Proficient in computer use and EMR systems (e.g., Epic).
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Job Requirements:
1–2 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
Previous experience in an Emergency Department or similar fast-paced environment.
