Position Overview: The Admissions Outside Reader is a part-time position that plays a key role in the selection of the College’s first-year class. The Admissions Outside Reader will be trained to read admissions applications for Bryn Mawr College, and a preference will be given to candidates with experience reading applications in a highly selective college or university environment at the undergraduate level.

The Admissions Outside Reader will be trained to read admissions applications for Bryn Mawr College, and a preference will be given to candidates with experience reading applications in a highly selective college or university environment at the undergraduate level.
Position Responsibilities
- Complete in-person reader training in November.
- Reading and evaluating applications via an individual first and second reader process with participation in individual reconciliation meetings.
- Contextually review the applications of first year applicants by reviewing essays, letters of recommendation, high school transcripts, interview reports, and co-curricular participation.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Must be able to write clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive academic and professional environment where all members of our campus community are respected, valued, can succeed, and thrive.
- Successful completion of satisfactory background checks required.
- Bachelor of Arts Degree, preferably liberal arts.
- Knowledge of Slate CRM.
- Experience reading and evaluating applications at a highly selective college or university.
