What are the responsibilities and job description for the GENERAL LABORER position at BRYCON, LLC?
Job Duties
- Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction projects and demolition sites
- May operate hand and power tools of all types in conjunction with proper training
- May clean and prepare sites
- Will assist other craft workers
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials (certified/training)
- Load/unload trucks; haul and hoist materials
- Clean construction site to eliminate possible hazards
- Pick up tools, equipment, and materials, and assist with securing the job site each day
- Perform daily tasks in a safe and workmanlike manner in accordance with company policies.
- Other duties, as assigned
- Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employee will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent desired
- Favorable driver’s record/valid license
- Ability to maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work activities
- Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol testing.
