Position Summary
This is a part-time contracted role for Head Men’s Basketball Club Coach at Bryant University.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Coaching – Oversee direct responsibility of the Men’s Club Basketball Program. Directone or more division area(s) (i.e., Novice/Varsity), as assigned, including:
Schedule, plan, attend, and implement all practices and matches
Assume administrative oversight of program operations: team travel details, equipment upkeep, and training programs.
Communicate effectively and serve as a mentor and coach with student athletesso that student athletes develop their full potential as individuals and athletes
Assist other coaches and team members in fundraising efforts, alumnaedevelopment, and serve as point person for some initiatives.
Design and implementation of the on-campus recruiting strategy for noviceplayers.
Supervise and mentor Assistant Coach(es).
2. Administration – Coordinate program business operations, including, but not limited to:
Budget maintenance
Purchasing
Travel
General clerical duties
Coordinate with Associate Athletic Director with any budgetary items, travel plans, roster changes, etc.
Recruit off-campus for prospective students at local high schools, club teams, etc.
3. Miscellaneous
Additional duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director
Must be First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
Represent Bryant University, the Department of Athletics and Recreation, and theMen’s Club Basketball Program in a professional and ethical manner.
Qualifications
Experience coaching Basketball at a high school/collegiate level.
Excellent communication skills, verbal/written.
Excellent organizational skills .
Ability to evaluate sessions and provide feedback to members.
Must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to drive a 12-15 passenger van.
