We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach the following course as well as a general pool of Accounting professionals:
Bryant University, a nationally recognized leader in higher education, is currently recruiting for adjunct teaching opportunities in our Department of Accounting for the Spring 2026 semester. Classes meet at our campus in Smithfield, RI. The Spring semester starts Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 and ends on May 12
We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach the following course as well as a general pool of Accounting professionals:
ACG 204: Principles of Managerial Accounting
This course is designed to serve the needs of both accounting majors and students of other business disciplines. Students will explore how accounting information is used internally by management to determine product/service cost; understand cost behavior; plan, evaluate, and control operations; and make business decisions.

In addition to the specific course section listed above, the Department of Accounting is also seeking to build a qualified pool of adjunct instructors who may be available to teach a range of undergraduate accounting courses during the spring 2026 semester. We welcome applications from experienced accounting professionals and educators with expertise in areas such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, auditing, and related disciplines. Candidates who are interested in being considered for future course assignments are encouraged to apply, noting their areas of specialization and availability.

This position includes teaching at the undergraduate level as well as contributing to student growth and development through active involvement in student related co-curricular activities.
Qualifications
- Requires a masters degree in accounting, business administration or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- Based on University procedures, adjunct faculty are typically limited to teaching no more than two classes per semester.
