We are looking for a technician to perform installation & service work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of restaurant fire systems/extinguishers.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning restaurant fire systems/extinguishers.
- Install new restaurant fire systems/extinguishers according to manufacturers’ specifications and local codes.
- Complete accurate records of service and inspection reports.
- Ability to read restaurant fire system design drawings.
- Ability to manage your job & helper no matter the size of the job.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff regarding project status and scheduling.
- Follow company safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to use trade appropriate tools to perform daily pipe fitting duties efficiently and safety.
- Ability to work independently and use provided personal protective equipment.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Texas State Fire Marshal licensing (FEL) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in restaurant fire system/extinguisher service and maintenance.
- Possess a strong knowledge of restaurant fire systems and their components.
- Familiarity with local and national fire codes, to include NFPA 10, 17A & 96 code requirements.
- Ability to perform physical labor and work at heights in a safe and efficient manner.
- Must be able to satisfy Government, Federal and Customs background check requirements.
- May work in variety of businesses and institutions including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government facilities.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
