Position Summary

The person chosen for this position will integrate faith and learning in the classroom while contributing to a collaborative, Christ-centered academic community committed to the mission to “educate students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world.”

The role emphasizes excellence in teaching and provides opportunities for scholarship and service, with particular attention to meaningful student engagement in small class settings where faculty can know students well and invest in their intellectual and spiritual formation. Faculty will engage in departmental, college, and community initiatives as appropriate and will play a meaningful role in guiding students’ academic paths and vocational direction.

Adjustments to teaching responsibilities may be made in accordance with the college’s workload policy based on the type of courses to which adjunct faculty are assigned and the extent of their responsibilities in other areas. All Bryan faculty are expected to follow the policies, guidelines, and instructions in the Bryan College Faculty Handbook.
