Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
- Take and record vital signs accurately to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and providing support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Stay updated on medical-surgical practices and protocols relevant to the role.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with medical terminology essential for effective communication.
- Experience in medication administration within a clinical setting.
- Background working in outpatient facilities or hospitals, particularly in trauma care environments.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
