We are currently seeking a Laundry Aide.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry in accordance with facility standards
Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and label machines
Inspect items for stains or damage and treat as appropriate
Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Assist residents with laundry-related requests or questions
Requirements:
Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
Knowledge of different fabrics and proper care instructions
Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads
