Utility Technician
Bay Rider Boats is seeking a motivated and qualified Utility Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a hands-on marine environment.
Responsibilities
The Utility Technician will perform a variety of tasks supporting boat production, preparation, and quality control, including:
- Quality control inspections to ensure boats meet company standards
- Installation and rigging of small parts and accessories
- Assisting with general boat preparation, finish work, and detailing
- Identifying and correcting minor defects or quality issues
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assisting other departments as needed to support production goals
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the marine, automotive, manufacturing, or related industry is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Comfortable working in an active shop and outdoor environment
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials and equipment as required
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of responsibilities
