Boat Rigging Technician
Bay Rider Boats is seeking qualified candidates for a Boat Rigging Technician at our production facility in Wilson, NC.
With more than 50 years of experience, Bay Rider Boats is a quality-focused marine manufacturer committed to building reliable, high-performance boats. We are looking for a skilled, dependable individual to join our production team and play an important role in preparing boats for delivery.
The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and workmanship. Experience with marine rigging, electrical systems, plumbing, engines, or related mechanical work is REQUIRED.
Responsibilities
· Install and rig marine systems and components
· Perform mechanical and electrical installations
· Install steering, controls, wiring, pumps, and related equipment
· Inspect completed work to ensure quality and proper operation
· Diagnose and correct installation issues
· Follow production procedures and safety requirements
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
· Work effectively as part of a production team
Qualifications
· Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
· Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and basic schematics
· Strong attention to detail and quality
· Ability to use common hand and power tools
· Dependable work ethic and positive attitude
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Previous marine, automotive, electrical, or mechanical experience REQUIRED.
