Position Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Project Manager. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong set of communication skills and glass industry knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Strong communication skills and ability to create relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Review project specifications, architectural drawings and other relevant documents to accurately assess the scope of work required for potential projects.
- Source and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Operations and our clients to suggest value engineering options that optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Submit accurate and timely proposals to clients, ensuring compliance with project requirements and adhering to bid deadlines.
- Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs with actual costs, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving efficiency.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Project Manager in the construction industry with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of material and processes in the glazing industry.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient and able to quickly pick up technology and software.
- Detail oriented and incredibly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
