Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- · Process biweekly payroll for all locations
- · Coordinate with hiring manager to recruit and onboard new hires
- · Administer employee benefit programs, garnishments, and leave of absences
- · Coordinate annual open enrollment of benefits
- · Administer and comply with workers’ compensation requirements when needed
- · Build and maintain relationships with employees at all levels, promoting an environment of open communication, and resolving employment-related issues
- · Plan company events, greet visitors, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Procurement
- · Responsible for planning and sourcing materials, and managing supplier relations
- · Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained
- · Set up parts and suppliers, create purchase orders, and negotiate contracts
- · Responsible for keeping office supplied and organized.
Accounting and IT
- · Troubleshoot IT issues and escalate to MSP as needed
- · Responsible for timely collection of receivables and record cash receipts
- · Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end financial closes
- · Analyze financials to identify trends and variances
- · Support annual insurance renewal and year-end financial audit
Qualifications
- · Minimum three years of experience, preferably in manufacturing environment
- · Experience with ERP systems preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Personal Attributes
- · High proficiency with processing payroll in ADP
- · Knowledge of labor laws, federal and state regulations and compliance requirements
- · Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- · Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- · Strong analytical skills with demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- · Organized and adaptable to various competing demands
- · Proactive and self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement
- · Resourceful and technologically savvy
