Job Description – Part-time Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time Accounting Clerk to support our accounting

department. This role will primarily be responsible for processing cash receipts and following up

on past-due balances, along with other general accounting tasks. This position is ideal for a

person who enjoys keeping things organized, and prides themselves on accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities

 Open and distribute incoming mail

 Process cash receipts and troubleshoot discrepancies

 Email monthly customer statements, and follow up on past-due balances

 Assist with expense reports and managing receipts

 Assist with other tasks as needed

Qualifications

 Previous experience in AR, AP or accounting support role preferred

 Experience with ERP systems preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Personal Attributes

 Strong attention to detail, and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

 Highly organized, reliable and trustworthy

 Communicates professionally with customers

 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Work Location, Schedule & Expected Hours

 Onsite

 15 – 20 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling

 Monday – Friday between 8:00am – 5:00pm

The duties listed above may change based on evolving business needs.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
