Maintenance Scheduler III – Turnaround / Capital Projects

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Scheduler III to support large-scale turnarounds and capital projects. This role is strictly for a scheduler (not a planner) with advanced Primavera P6 expertise and strong leadership capability to independently drive schedules, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure successful execution through shutdown and startup phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 for full shutdowns, migrations, and integrated project scopes (not mechanical-only).
- Independently coordinate, track, and drive scheduler teams to meet project milestones.
- Monitor progress, forecast impacts, and drive follow-ups through completion.
- Communicate schedule status, risks, and recovery plans in clear, practical terms.
- Apply prior planning knowledge to support optimized execution strategies.
- Learn and align with ExxonMobil (XOM) Turnaround Practices.
- Continuously optimize schedules and drive performance improvements.
- Take direction from project leadership while maintaining ownership of schedule execution.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of turnaround & capital project scheduling experience.
- 10 years of total industry experience preferred (not mandatory).
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale turnarounds.
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to drive accountability and task completion.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Power BI for reporting (preferred, not required).
- Strong understanding of shutdown, startup, and execution sequencing.
