Project Manager – BAS / HVAC Controls | Fort Meade & Baltimore, MD
Our client, a leading building solutions contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects across the Fort Meade and Baltimore corridor.
BAS/HVAC Controls experience is required for this role. If you have hands-on knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BMS), HVAC Controls, Fire Alarm, or Access Control systems and can manage technical project delivery from procurement through commissioning - we want to hear from you.
What You'll Own:
- End-to-end project scheduling, budgets, and milestone tracking
- Subcontractor oversight and client relationship management
- AIA/SOV billing, cost forecasting, and financial reporting
- RFIs, submittals, change orders, and As-Built documentation
- Safety compliance, risk management, and quality assurance
- Mentoring junior team members and driving accountability
What You Bring:
- 5–7 years of project management experience in building solutions
- Deep expertise in BAS, HVAC Controls, BMS, Fire Alarm, or Access Control systems
- Solid understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Visio, and Office Suite
- Experience managing AIA billing, Schedule of Values, and project financials
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience
Projects span new construction, renovations, tenant improvements, and service upgrades - all requiring close coordination with federal and commercial clients in the Fort Meade and Baltimore area.
