What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Audit AVP - Cloud & Cyber position at Bruin?
IT Audit AVP / Senior Auditor β Cloud, Cyber & Infrastructure | Financial Services
I'm partnering with a well regarded financial services institution that's investing seriously in its technology audit capability, and they're looking to bring in an IT Audit AVP / Senior Auditor across cloud, cyber and infrastructure. My client is happy to consider candidates from outside of Financial services also.
Rather than repetitive controls testing, you'd be auditing the things that actually matter right now: cloud migrations, security architecture, cyber resilience, identity and access, and the controls around large-scale platform and infrastructure change. The team is well resourced, technically credible, and taken seriously by the wider business, so the work has real influence rather than being a tick-box exercise.
What they're looking for:
- Experience delivering IT audits in a financial services or regulated environment
- Exposure to cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP), cyber security and infrastructure controls
- A good grasp of areas like access management, change management, vulnerability and threat management, resilience and security configuration
- The ability to scope and run audits end to end and hold your own with technical stakeholders
- A relevant certification (CISA, CISSP, cloud certs) is welcome but not a dealbreaker
What's on offer:
- A culture that invests in its people, with proper budget for training and certifications
- Genuine technical breadth and exposure to leading edge technology
- Hybrid working and strong work life balance
- Competitive base plus bonus and a strong benefits package
- A clear path to Manager and beyond for the right person
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
