We're partnering with a leading asset manager in NYC on an Investment Reporting & Operations hire. This role sits within the investment operations team and works closely with investment professionals, focused on investment reporting, performance reporting, data validation, and portfolio oversight across a range of credit strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver recurring performance and portfolio reports, including reporting on returns, exposures, cash activity, and investment-level performance.
- Work with large datasets to validate and reconcile investment data across systems, custodians, administrators, and internal teams.
- Support reporting related to NAV, cash flows, portfolio holdings, and investment-level metrics.
- Partner with investment, operations, and accounting teams to investigate and resolve reporting and data discrepancies.
- Support enhancements to reporting workflows, controls, and overall data integrity.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, investor requests, and portfolio analysis for internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 4 years of experience within investment reporting, performance reporting, fund operations, investment operations, or related functions.
- Experience supporting institutional or alternative investment portfolios across credit, fixed income, private markets, or multi-asset strategies.
- Strong Excel skills with experience working across large investment datasets, reconciliations, and reporting workflows.
- Exposure to performance metrics such as returns, cash flows, attribution, IRR, MOIC, or portfolio exposures is a plus.
- Experience with investment reporting or portfolio systems such as Solovis, Addepar, Geneva, Aladdin, Canoe, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
