US Branch of major European CIB seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join their New York office, focused on Project Finance (Renewable Energy in particular).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct credit analysis and loan reviews for project and structured finance transactions (both bilateral and syndicated), with a focus on renewable energy. Assess financial and operational performance, transaction structure, and legal considerations, including internal ratings.
- Prepare credit reports for new facilities, renewals, and amendments, including review of financial models and consultant reports.
- Monitor borrower performance and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Maintain records in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with front-office teams on transaction structuring and risk mitigation. Communicate with internal stakeholders across departments and regions.
- Track industry trends and support internal reporting, product development, and special projects.
Skills/ Experience Required
- 3-5 years in a Project Finance/ Structured Finance Risk role, ideally in Banking.
- Demonstrable time spent focused on Renewable or Traditional Energy transactions
- Degree in Business/ Finance/ Economics or related discipline. CFA/ MBA welcomed
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
