1 – 3 years of warehousing experience

About The Role
- Under the direction of the Assistant Warehouse Manager, the Inventory Control Lead is responsible for all inventory control and cycle counting functions . The Lead is also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
- Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic physical inventory counts.
- Perform scheduled and periodic inventory counts.
- Research and explain variances discovered during scheduled and periodic inventory counts.
- Consistently maintain accurate inventories of raw materials and components.
- Assure accurate picking and staging of raw materials and components for production in a timely manner to avoid manufacturing delays and complete returns from the processing areas.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedule for forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Complete documentation of inventory operations where required by Standard Operation Procedures (SOP's) and file accordingly.
- Monitor/track/report on workload, schedules, reliability, compliance, and training issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
1 – 3 years of warehousing experience
