DEPARTMENT : Accounting Department
REPORTS TO : Corp. Office Manager
SUMMARY OF
DUTIES : Inventory posting and inventory control. Perform duties necessary for the
smooth operation of the accounting department.
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:
1) Inventory control for the accounting department, which includes posting receipts and inventory adjustments on in-house computer system.
2) Maintain stock book – stock requests, etc.
3) Maintain commission book for sales.
4) Maintain filing for accounting department
5) Archive all files at end of fiscal year.
6) General office work.
7) Adjust and download both stock orders and emergency orders.
8) Work with front office each month on factory receivable debits and credits.
9) Keep ledger on all price variances to match up to accounting.
MARGINAL TASKS : General office work.
EDUCATION
REQUIREMENTS : High school education.
WORK
EXPERIENCE : Experience in computer input, basic secretarial skills.
SPECIAL
REQUIREMENTS : Be able to use typewriter (50 wpm), calculator , 10-key , and computer
keyboard. Interact successfully with co-workers. Ability to recognize the

PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS : Endurance to make a transition between two jobs. Lift objects of up to thirty
pounds.
