Service Dispatcher

The Service Dispatcher plays a crucial role in coordinating schedules and managing dispatch operations to ensure efficient and timely service delivery. Working within a dedicated dispatch team and reporting to the operations manager, this position supports various field service operations including facility maintenance, transportation and logistics, and emergency services. The dispatcher maintains clear communication with customers and field staff, handling issues promptly and keeping accurate records to support seamless service execution.

Responsibilities

·         Coordinate scheduling and dispatch activities to optimize resource use and meet service demands.

·         Manage customer communications, providing timely updates and resolving issues efficiently.

·         Maintain accurate records and generate reports on dispatch operations and service outcomes.

·         Collaborate closely with the field service team and service operations manager to ensure smooth workflows.

·         Monitor dispatch systems and software to track service calls and assignments.

·         Address and resolve any logistical or service-related problems as they arise.

Required Qualifications

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel and data entry.

·         Strong customer service and communication skills.

·         Effective time management and multi-tasking abilities.

·         Good problem-solving skills and team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications
