Brownstein is now accepting applications for our Fall 2026 Internship program from students with an interest in politics, government, advocacy or law.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Covering congressional hearings for clients
• Writing policy updates for clients
• Tracking legislation and regulations
• Researching business development opportunities
• Assisting with other research and writing projects as they arise

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicants must be enrolled in a college or university, while also maintaining a 3.2 GPA or higher
• Capitol Hill or equivalent public policy experience is preferred, but not required

Position Schedule: Fall and spring candidates must be able to commit three full days out of the week to the internship. Brownstein’s office hours are 9AM to 6 PM, with a one-hour lunch break, and interns are expected to be with us for the entirety of the day. As part of the application process we will ask for your availability for the semester.

Applications are considered on a rolling basis. The applications for the Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 programs will open in September.
