We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our skilled nursing team.
As the Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in shaping the quality of care, mentoring nursing staff, and ensuring our residents receive the highest level of clinical excellence and compassion.
Oversee and coordinate all nursing department operations, including staff management, resident care, and compliance.
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to foster a positive, team-oriented culture.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Monitor quality assurance programs and implement improvements as needed.
Hold an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) Georgia state license.
Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.
Communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, and regulatory agencies.
Previous leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing required.
