What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Brown Veterinary Clinic?
Brown Veterinary Clinic is seeking an exceptional full time Client Services Representative to join our team! We are looking for someone to have evening and weekend availability. The shifts would be 3pm to 10pm. There is plenty of room to learn and grow at this busy facility! The ideal candidate will be able to work days and evenings.
An ideal CSR must be professional, compassionate and motivated. Effective communication is key for this position as you will be interacting with clients and team members. Every day may be different here so if you are looking for a position that keeps you on your toes, this may be for you!
Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer services through all interactions with clients and patients
- Answering multiple phone lines
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking patients in/out
- General use of office equipment
- Coordinating the flow of pets and owners in the lobby
- Ability to learn basic veterinary medicine terminology and standards of care
- Becoming familiar with retail products, medications, vaccinations, etc.
- Handling incoming emergency check-ins/in-take of critical patients
- Recommending wellness services and preventative products
- Resolving custom conflict and informal client complaints
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to bend, stand, lift for extended periods of time
- Will occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
