Job Description
- Create and maintain an engaging classroom environment
- Incorporate technology into teaching and learning
- Help ensure that the school's academic standards are rigorous, clear and measurable
- Develop lessons and activities that are aligned with the academic standards
- Ensure that students master grade-level standards
- Incorporate direct instruction, discussion, projects and cooperative work to engage students, keep classes focused and infuse a lasting desire to learn
- Display a commitment to diversity and creating a culture of equity, inclusion and belonging in approach to teaching and learning, as they are recognized and valued by Brown School
