Responsibilities
- Install fences using various materials such as wood, vinyl, or ornamental metal, ensuring precise measurements and secure anchoring.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up forms for concrete pouring, and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Pour, level, and finish concrete surfaces including slabs, walkways, patios, and retaining walls with attention to detail for smooth finishes.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble fencing components and concrete forms.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as posts, panels, bags of concrete mix, and other supplies required for installation projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure installations meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure efficient workflow on construction sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction work with a focus on fencing or concrete installation preferred.
- Strong skills in carpentry, frame carpentry, masonry, or related trades.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and finishing methods.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance or hardscape work is a plus.
