Official Start time 8:00 AM
End time varies depending on production and shipping needs
Working in cooler/freezer temps 16-32 degrees
Some Saturdays
Need to be able to lift 80lbs
Duties
- Safely operate a Reach Truck to transport materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory control as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Reach Truck Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts such as cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and order pickers preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with OSHA standards for warehouse operations
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment
