Preventive Maintenance Technician, Days

Job description:

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient day-to-day operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
• Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems and logic controllers
• Provide clear communication, direction, and support to team members
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of supplies as needed
• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution
• Work closely with other departments to improve workflow and support production targets
• Train new employees on job duties, equipment use, and safety procedures
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability with experience supervising and supporting a team
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, logic controllers, and low-voltage equipment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Understanding of maintenance management practices and preventive maintenance principles
• Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose issues and perform basic repairs
• Strong recordkeeping and documentation skills
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to operational issues
• Willingness and flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed
