What are the responsibilities and job description for the Derby Deli Line Cook/Support Staff position at BROWN DERBY STORES INC?
Brown Derby Deli is hiring a Line & Prep Cook/Dishwasher/BOH Support Staff . This is a vital role in our restaurant and a great position for someone looking to be a part of a team in a fast paced restaurant environment! This position is eligible for up to 40 hours per week, but there may be additional hours available based on business need. Scheduled days worked will reflect support for operational hours.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory
- Follow all health code guidelines
Qualifications
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments
- Able to anticipate operational needs and proactively work to meet those needs
- Strong attention to detail
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Knowledge/experience working in a kitchen

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move and position self around the kitchen
- Bending, stooping, and being positioned upright for long periods at a time
- Must be able to safely relocate up to 65 lbs.
