Location: In office:4900 Daggett Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110
Job Summary: Brown & Crouppen has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal to work in conjunction with an attorney to effectively manage high volume, top-tiered cases while providing excellent support to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ordering and reviewing police reports, supplemental reports, medical records, insurance policies, etc.
- Investigation using Westlaw, REJIS, social media, etc.
- Preparing pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, affidavits, medical chronologies, and other litigation support documents.
- Managing attorney’s calendar and court deadlines
- Preparation of settlement distributions and allocations
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in personal injury preferred.
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to handle competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Required Education:
- Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
